La apertura del disco, “Historia del Tiempo (4 Dimensiones)”, es una composición con un importante nivel de intensidad tanto melódica como rítmica, que dispone de cuatro partes diferenciadas que hacen referencia a dimensiones espacio temporales, en donde se producen estiramientos y estrechamientos del tempo haciendo alusión a la teoría relativista de que el tiempo es una variable más y que puede ser modificable. La composición comienza con una primera parte “up-tempo” de 16 compases que resuelve en otra sección con un tempo menor para luego dar indicios típicos de una balada. Luego de recuperar el mismo tempo pero en compases de 3/4, hacia el final de la sección vuelve a un 4/4. Estos cambios se mantienen en las improvisaciones de saxo tenor y piano. En el head-out se desarrolla un solo de batería sobre apoyos que van desplazándose, y finalmente un solo de contrabajo sobre el outro del tema. Esta primera composición del disco se presenta en formato cuarteto que incluye saxo tenor, piano, contrabajo y batería.

The opening of the album, “Historia del Tiempo (4 Dimensiones)”, is a composition with an important level melodic and rhythmic intensity, which has four differentiated parts that refer to space-time dimensions, where stretching and narrowing of the tempo occur, alluding to the relativistic theory that time is just another variable and that it can be modified. The composition begins with a first “up-tempo” part of 16 bars that resolves into another section with a lower tempo and then gives typical hints of a ballad. After recovering the same tempo but in 3/4 time signatures, towards the end of the section it returns to 4/4 time. These changes are maintained in the tenor sax and piano improvisations. In the head-out, a drum solo develops over moving supports, and finally a bass solo over the outro of the song. This first composition on the album is presented in quartet format that includes tenor sax, piano, bass and drums.
